Coming up next on TLC: A Bridal Shower Story

During Ruth's bridal shower, a storm knocked out the power.

Alas...how was she going to open her gifts? We knew we needed someone to reconnect the power.

So Ashanda decided to dance, thinking it would work.

But it didn't. "It normally does," she said.

So Ruth decided to join her, using the "roommate force" one last time, but nothing happened...

...because they were missing the final link. (Julia Rausch, of course!)

"I'll have to call someone!" she exclaimed.

She alerted Borah and Josh of our problem and they decided to use their superpowers (while Lauren and Abdaly looked on in amazement)...

...but they got distracted by the cake.

Meanwhile, the storm brewed.

Yunily decided to help. "I'll go to Hong Kong and find the best electricians!" And she left, leaving us sad and bewildered.

Then a model from Thailand said we should open the gifts in the sanctuary...

...and it worked!

We forgot the power went out, and Ruth had a good time opening her gifts.

"Lo," said Christy. "How are we going to enjoy the last part of this bridal shower?" (Another predicament.)

Thankfully, Grace showed up with an electrician's box and fixed everything.

And we were able to see Ruth in her stunning wedding dress.

And people ate cake.

And the bride rocked out.

prepare yourself...

Because now I'm just going for extremely corny and sorrowful...

extremely...

What do people say about the woman who drives a $2 car made of granite?

..............................................................................................................................................................................

They say she drives a hard bargain!

*spleen explodes, eyes melt*

I'm just so turned off...

JULY 8 - JULY 28

The 21-Day Turn-Off is a 21-Day media fast from July 8 -- July 28, turning off TV, movies, radio, newspapers, magazines, video games, surfing the web (except for necessary work), etc... This is a time for the Church to unplug from the world and to come clean.

A relationship cannot thrive without intimacy. These 21-Days are a honeymoon with the Lover of our Soul, the Bridegroom - Jesus Christ. We will shut out all outside influences for the purpose of falling in love again with our First Love.

The arising generation has never known a time of innocence and has inherited a society of accelerated moral decline and unrestrained decadence. Our nation has been flooded by the onslaught of the pornographic plague that has infiltrated and gripped the Church.

This is a corporate opportunity to escape from the “matrix” of society and detox from the media madness. It is time to hear the clarity and beauty of God's voice again as we reboot our systems through prayer, fasting and time with the Lord and with our families.

Join with us as we consecrate ourselves to the Lord and to the beauty of holiness.

21 Days for Eternity!

<ps If you're just coming off the 40 day fast, welcome to another one! Let's make it 61 days and see what God will do...>
